Big Fish Elementary Audition Information!

Auditions will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the high school auditorium.

Big Fish performances will be Friday, April 13th at 7 PM, Saturday, April 14th at 7 PM and Sunday, April 15th at 2 PM.  Mandatory rehearsals will be from Wednsday, April 4th thru Thursday, April 12th.  .

We will be casting one male elementary student for the following role:
- Young Will - Edward's son. Seen in flashbacks.


- Must be between 4'0 and 5'0.
- Must be able to read script and music independently
- All who audition should be strong singers and strong actors.
- Previous musical theatre experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Can not be scared of the dark
- Can not be scared of heights
- Must be comfortable with loud noises, small spaces, and being picked up by a high school student.
- Must have the ability to work quietly and independently during rehearsal when not on stage
- Must meet SYCSD's extra-curricular guidelines, which includes passing grades in all classes from January thru April 13th.

- Young Will should be prepared to rehearse three to four nights a week from 7-9PM and also on Sunday afternoons starting January 1st thru April 13th. Starting in March & April, they may also be scheduled on Friday evenings and Saturday morning/afternoon for tech rehearsals.

- Bring a recent photo and schedule from January 1st thru April 13th.
- Each audition will consist of singing a prepared song, reading a section of the script and possibly a short dance.
- Everyone should wear comfortable clothes for dancing.
- Both the song and script portion listed below should be with an Alabama accent - needs to be memorized.
