Wizard of Oz Audition Information!


Auditions will be Monday December 3rd, Tuesday December 4th, and Wednesday, December 5th from 6:30-9 in the high school auditorium.  If needed, call backs will be Friday, December 7th.

Wizard of Oz performances will be Friday, April 5th at 7 PM, Saturday, April 6th at 2 PM and 7 PM and Sunday, April 7th at 2 PM. Mandatory rehearsals will be from Wednesday, March 27th through Thursday, April 4th. Please note that Tech Day will be on March 31st. Flying tech (for all applicable characters/crew only) is tentatively scheduled for Monday, March 25th.

TO SIGN UP FOR AN AUDITION

To audition, sign up for a time on the signup sheet on the auditorium door.

For Dorothy:
     - Prepare a one minute MEMORIZED comedic monologue*

* Please note all monologues will be cut off at one minute.  MEMORIZED monologue is required in order to be considered for a role.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
-
All main characters should be prepared to rehearse three to four nights a week from 6-9PM and also on Sunday afternoons starting January 1st.  Starting in March, they may also be scheduled on Friday evenings and Saturday morning/afternoon for tech rehearsals.
- All ensemble characters/dancers should be prepared to rehearse one to two nights a week from 6-9PM and also on Sunday afternoons starting January 1st thru mid-March. From mid-March thru the show, full cast will rehearse three to four nights a week plus Sunday. 

ENSEMBLE / DANCER ONLY
If you'd like to only be in the ensemble or only be a dancer, please come to an audition session (sign up is not required) and fill out an information sheet.  (If you have been in a previous SHS production, you may email info@susquehannocktheatre.com to sign up to be in the ensemble/dancer instead of coming to an audition session.  Please email before Friday, December 21st.)
